Criteria and guidance
Applications are invited for St. Patrick’s Day Parade Fringe Activities Pilot Scheme in Newry City and Downpatrick Town.
Projects must be implemented within the council boundaries. Organisations that already received a Letter of Offer for St.
Patrick’s Day celebrations are not eligible. Opening Date: 16 September 2026.
Closing Date: 14 October 2026 at 12noon. Information workshops are available via TicketSource.
What is funded
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council invites applications from the Community and Voluntary Sector (i.e. not-for-profit) and Businesses in Newry City and Downpatrick Town for Financial Assistance towards the thematic areas outlined below: St.
Patrick’s Day Parade Fringe Activities Pilot Scheme Please be advised, if your organisation received a Letter of Offer for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations through Financial Assistance or other Council funding, you will not be eligible apply for this theme in Call 3.
Note: Applicants can apply with a registered address outside the area, providing the project is implemented within the boundaries of Newry City and Downpatrick Town, as specified.
