Criteria and guidance
Supports projects providing access to food, youth opportunities, mental wellbeing, community cohesion, or sustainable futures. Successful groups receive a minimum of 500 pounds, with final awards depending on Co-op member support.
At least one applicant contact must be a Co-op member. Apply online at causes.coop.co.uk when the round opens.
What is funded
Annual grants for not-for-profit projects in Co-op members' communities across the UK, including Northern Ireland. Supports work that helps people thrive: access to food, opportunities for young people, mental wellbeing, community cohesion or sustainable futures.
Successful groups receive a minimum of £500; the final award depends on Co-op members giving Community Stamps when they shop. At least one applicant contact must be a Co-op member.
Eligible applicants include registered charities, community groups, CICs, schools and other not-for-profits. The 2026 round closed 10 July 2026; applications next open in Spring 2027 at causes.coop.co.uk.
